Welcome to my website. At first glance, you might think my paintings are just bright colored images of birds or people, but they are more than that. Before I start to paint I am inspired with a concept and the image is the conveyor of my message. The stage is set with drama or sprinkled with humor and a title is added to give the viewer a clue to my visual story. Whether using watercolor, acrylic, oil, or collage materials, the media is secondary to the concept. My style is becoming less traditional and more contemporary as I explore new ideas and develop as an artist.
